I understand the hatred in some common people of brazil towards the world cup but i think there is certainly a chance for Brazil to grow even more if everything falls in the right manner for them during the world cup.

Brazilian people need hospitals, schools, work, education. They do not need capitalism, stadiums and repression.
This world cup has already brought death: workers died to build those stadiums and protesters have been killed too by robocop-policemen. This is not growing up and has got nothing to do with democracy.
